“The Pittsburgh Tomorrow Leaders Group is the core youth program of the Pittsburgh Tomorrow initiative, designed to inspire the potential of high school students and educators to become a force for positive change in schools, communities, and the entire region.

The Pittsburgh Leadership for Tomorrow program focuses on environmental protection, community engagement, and civic enthusiasm. Through community sustainability projects, hands-on learning experiences, and meaningful civic engagement activities, it cultivates leadership skills and a sense of social responsibility in young people.

The Pittsburgh Tomorrow Leadership Team is the core youth project of the Pittsburgh Tomorrow program, aimed at unleashing the potential of high school students and educators to become a driving force for positive change in schools, communities, and the entire region.

The project takes environmental protection, community participation, and citizen enthusiasm as its core values. Through community sustainable development projects, practical learning experiences, and meaningful citizen participation activities, it cultivates young people's leadership skills and sense of social responsibility.

1. Leadership Development Workshops and Seminars (Dates to be determined)

2. Personal Leadership Development Workshop

3. Meet with local and state legislators to discuss civic participation (January)

4. College application and college planning seminar held at Carnegie Mellon University (February)

5. Attend a Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra concert (date to be determined)

6. April 2026: A “Garbage-a-thon” community cleanup event will be held near Acrisure Stadium ahead of the NFL draft.

Recruitment targets(Recruitment Target)

High school students (grades 10-11):A curious, cooperative young person from the Pittsburgh area who is willing to lead and drive change in the community.

Educators and Community Leaders:A participant who is enthusiastic about civic education and education for sustainable development, and is willing to assist in event organization and volunteer work.
