Founder’s Message
English
Throughout my years in media, I have always believed that what truly matters is not only the news itself, but the people and stories that shape the memory of our time.
Across Chinese communities around the world, there are countless authentic and inspiring life stories. Some people cross borders to pursue new opportunities, some rebuild their careers in unfamiliar cities, while others search for their place between different cultures.
These stories belong not only to individuals but also to the times we live in.
Through TVOW, I hope to document more of these voices and experiences, allowing people from different cultural backgrounds to better understand one another.
For me, the value of media lies not only in delivering information, but also in preserving the memory of our time.
Why TVOW Was Founded
TVOW(The Voice of the World,世界知声) 正是在这样的背景下诞生。
English
As more Chinese people live and work across the world, Chinese communities have become an important part of global society.
However, many authentic experiences of Chinese individuals remain underrepresented in mainstream narratives. Stories that cross cultures and borders are often scattered and lack a stable platform for long-term documentation.
TVOW (The Voice of the World) was founded in response to this need.
The platform aims to document stories of Chinese communities worldwide through media reporting, publishing initiatives, and cultural projects, presenting a diverse and authentic portrait of global Chinese life.
We believe that:
- Every real story deserves to be recorded
- Every culture deserves to be understood
- Every act of expression can connect different worlds
TVOW seeks to become a cultural bridge that allows Chinese voices to be heard by the world and helps the world better understand Chinese communities.
